During our recent family escape to Nant Ddu, I was excited to dive into the culinary offerings at the Lodge Restaurant & Bar. Nestled in the stunning Welsh backdrop, the restaurant showcases the best of local cuisine. We savored the seafood, which truly highlighted the region's freshness, while the Welsh sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection-a delight for any meat enthusiast! The ambiance at the restaurant was cozy, especially with the open log fire crackling in the background, creating a warm atmosphere perfect for gatherings. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay; the variety was commendable, although I found the toaster a bit problematic. Our executive suite was spacious, with a separate living area that provided comfort during our downtime. While it was advertised to boast mountain views, that aspect fell a bit short. Nonetheless, the luxurious feel of the suite made up for it. It was a memorable stay with great food and friendly staff, despite a few minor cleanliness concerns. A revisit is definitely on the cards!
